1. About us
This website is operated by LePin Enterprises LLC, trading as The House of Beatrice ("we", "us", "our"), 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. You can contact us at info@thehouseofbeatrice.co.uk, Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (UK time).
2. Using this website
You must be at least 18 to place an order. You agree to give us accurate and complete details when you order, and not to use the website for anything unlawful, to interfere with its security, or to copy or resell its content without our written permission.
3. Our products
We describe and photograph our products as accurately as we can. Colours can look different from one screen to another, and sizes can vary slightly from the measurements shown. Some products are available only in limited quantities, and we may withdraw a product at any time.
4. Prices and payment
All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). The total shown at checkout, including any discount, is the full amount you pay. Delivery is free.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. Payment is taken when you place your order.
Prices and offers can change, but changes do not affect orders you have already placed. If we find an obvious pricing mistake on an order, we will contact you and you can choose to pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
5. Your order
The products shown on this website are an invitation to buy, not a binding offer. When you place an order you make an offer to buy. We send an email to acknowledge your order, and the contract between us is formed when we email you to confirm that your order has been dispatched.
We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is out of stock, if we cannot verify the payment or if we suspect fraud. If we do, we will tell you and refund anything you have paid. Orders are processed automatically: once your order has been processed, we cannot change or cancel it before delivery.
6. Delivery
Our Shipping policy forms part of these terms. In summary:
- delivery is free and we deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom;
- orders are processed in 1 to 3 working days and delivered 8 to 12 working days after dispatch;
- orders are dispatched from our fulfilment partner in Asia;
- delivery times are estimates. If your order has not arrived within 30 days of the date you placed it, you can ask for a replacement or a full refund.
The products are your responsibility from the moment they are delivered to the address you gave us.
7. Customs and import charges
You should not be asked to pay customs duty or import VAT on delivery. If a carrier asks you for a payment, contact us before paying and we will resolve it with the carrier or refund the charge.
8. Returns, cancellation and refunds
Our Refund policy forms part of these terms. In summary:
- once an order has been processed it cannot be cancelled before delivery. You can cancel within 14 days of receiving it by sending it back, and we accept returns for 30 days after delivery;
- if you change your mind, you pay the cost of sending the item back to our returns centre in Asia;
- if an item is damaged, faulty or not as described, we replace or refund it at no cost to you. You can also exchange an item for a different one, as described in the Refund policy.
9. Faulty products and our guarantee
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the products we sell must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If yours is not, you are entitled to a repair, a replacement or a refund, depending on the circumstances.
In addition, every item comes with our 2-year guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship, as described in our Refund policy. The guarantee does not affect your legal rights.
10. Our responsibility to you
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for breach of your legal rights as a consumer.
If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failure. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as carrier strikes, customs delays or severe weather.
We sell products for personal use only. We are not liable for business losses such as lost profit or business interruption.
11. Intellectual property
The text, images, logos and designs on this website belong to us or to our licensors. You may view and print pages for your own personal use. You may not copy, reproduce or use them commercially without our written permission.
12. Reviews and messages you send us
If you send us a review, comment or suggestion, you confirm that it is your own, that it is truthful and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. You allow us to publish it on our website and in our marketing. We may remove content that is unlawful or offensive.
13. Links and third-party services
Our website uses services from other companies, such as payment and parcel-tracking providers, and may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of websites we do not control.
14. Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy policy explains how we use your personal data, and our Cookie policy explains the cookies we use and how to change your choices. Our Intellectual property page explains how to report content you believe infringes your rights.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on this page on the day you place it.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
17. Other terms
If a court finds that part of these terms is unlawful, the rest still applies. If we delay in enforcing a term, we can still enforce it later.
